3rd pipe

[Nurarihyon has finally got his hands on a pipe, and he won't be letting it go anytime soon. ...Even though he nabbed it from a place without knowing who the owner is. So somewhere in Mayfield, someone who used to own a Japanese-looking pipe is finding him/her/itself being pipe-less.

Now, he's sitting and smoking. Taking in whatever scenery that is in front of him at the moment. He's been checking out some places, trying to figure out more about this odd place, that does nothing but confuse him, and throws new things in his face each and every day. He hasn't hidden, so you can spot him pretty easily.

Go ahead, you know you wanna talk to this guy!]

[Cain had been walking through the park when he spotted this guy up a tree, he paused for a second to give him a polite wave.]

[He removes the pipe from his lips, letting the smoke out. He smiles at the boy on the ground, raising the pipe slightly in greeting.]

Aren't you a little cold up there?

Not really. There's a nice breeze up here. I bet it'll be even better in the middle of the night.

I'm sure it might snow before much longer, you should at least wrap up warm!

I don't get along with this place's strange clothes. [Meaning, he has a hard time with zippers, among other things.] I haven't seen a single kimono in that.. war-rope thing.

[Ah. So he must be from quite a different time and culture to here. At least, even if things weren't as Cain were used to them, he could figure out everything easily enough.]

Afraid they don't have any here, but you should at least put a coat on.

These things are sort of similar to jinbei. [He was talking about the pants he was wearing.

[He's not exactly that familiar with the clothes he's listing, but he can follow the gist.]

Mm, very warm.

[He plucks at his own coat in demonstration.]

[He motions towards Cain's coat with his pipe.]

It does look warm.

[He's a little unsure why the older man would have a problem with coats. From what little he knew of Eastern clothing, it wasn't so vastly different that the leap of common sense could be made as to how to put it on.]

[He nods and starts walking away again; the older man seems content to sit in the cold like that, and Abel would worry if Cain stayed out too long.]
